Meet Elizabeth
Born in New York City, I attended public schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Syosset and graduated from Yale University. I am the mother of three children in Rye Neck Schools (11th, 8th and 6th grades). I previously spent 10 years in asset management at Goldman Sachs. I am a musician and volunteer teacher for adult learning, and have been involved in advocacy for education and special needs for the past 12 years.
Relevant Experience
Care
With a background in finance, I understand the importance of managing a budget responsibly. I can help our community allocate our financial resources to meet our educational goals.
Collaboration
My career experience has taught me the importance of collaborating – listening to and considering all stakeholder needs, asking the right questions, creating a plan, and then building consensus to achieve results.
Community
I am an active member of the Rye Neck PTSA International Committee. During the pandemic, I launched a neighborhood outdoor concert series to safely bring neighbors together to build community, promote music appreciation and give the youth opportunities to perform. Prior to relocating to Rye Neck, I was Chair of my residents committee, where I was responsible for overseeing capital improvements, security, safety, and general upkeep of the building.
